Often overlooked but critically important

Not the most glamorous thing you'll ever do (don't tell our accountants that). Nevertheless, a critical part of your business if you truly want to understand where, or whether you are making money, and what you need to do to make more of it.


Our team will undertake a full accounting system set-up using QuickBooks. Once the accounts are created, and historical data is loaded, we also offer a monthly book-keeping service to ensure the business accounts are up to date and accurate.


This is an especially important activity to get right particularly if your plans include selling the business at some point

 

Each set of accounts is different and we treat them accordingly. The initial set-up activities will typically include:

o  Review of current accounts. 

o  Create charts of account for the business.

o  Populate the accounts with historical data for a period agreed with client, using data extracts from Amazon and physical receipts. 

o  Establish business processes to capture and maintain cost data going forward.

o  Produce P+L and Balance Sheet for the business to date to be reviewed and discussed.

Once the baseline financials are in place we will maintain the accounts per our standard processes for managing any transactions such as PO's, invoices etc.


We provide management oversight to ensure accuracy and to highlight any discrepancies or areas of concern that may arise.

We'll provide a full monthly report and, of course, you'll have full access to Quickbooks at all times.


Come tax season, your accountant will have a complete, accurate set of accounts and you won't have to worry about a thing.

HOW FAR BACK IN TIME WILL YOU GO?

That all depends on you. Typically we recommend having 12 months of data in the system if you have that much history but we can do more, or less.

HOW DO YOU BILL FOR THIS?

We charge a one time set up fee which will vary depending on the complexity of your business. Then there's a modest monthly book keeping charge.

HOW DO I SEND STUFF TO YOU?

We make that nice and easy - don't worry. Everything is done electronically and if we find that something is missing we'll just ask you for it.
